Doug qualified as a Barrister in 1985 and became a Solicitor in 1990 having joined the firm in 1989.

He is a partner in our private client non-contentious Wills, Trust, Tax and Probate Department.

As a solicitor with Higher Court Audience Rights, Doug is a formidable Advocate and regularly appears in local court to represent private clients charged with road traffic offences. At a time when the motorist has never before been so closely scrutinized, this fast growing area of work compliments Doug's other private client skills.

Married with 3 teenage children, Doug is a keen sportsman whose other interests include travel and motorsport.
