With over 17 years in the legal sector, Richard is our Financial Controller and a member of our management team.

His career began as an Office Junior, quickly progressing to Legal Cashier which paved the way to a rewarding career in accounts.

Richard manages a team of 5, and they are all responsible for the flow of client funds, billing and the payment of suppliers, adhering to all statutory regulations.

Richard's role involves full control over the department, ensuring compliance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules, liaison with the fim's auditors, payroll, VAT returns and also general IT support.

Away from the office, Richard is a dedicated family man with 3 young children. Richard spends a lot of time raising awareness via the charity Jennifer Trust for Spinal Muscular Atrophy, a subject very close to his heart as Richard lost a fourth child to this condition in 2002.

Richard also enjoys reading; cycling and fishing...when he has the time. He is currently writing a novel, which he aims to publish in the near future.
