Commercial Mediation is a well established and fast growing process for resolving disputes in which an impartial third party gets to mediate (helps people and companies in dispute find a mutually acceptable resolution). Mediation is based upon collaborative problem solving between those in dispute, focussing on re-building relationships rather than apportioning blame and provides a structure where a common sense approach in resolving disputes can be brought about. Mediation is generally more cost effective and quicker than going to Court and is a flexible process that can be used to settle disputes in a whole range of situations.
