Home Information Packs (HIP's)  - updated 17.08.07

Properties marketed for sale from 14 December 2007 in England and Wales will need a Home Information Pack (HIP), which includes a home energy rating.

At present, you can market your property without a HIP for a short period of time providing you have already commissioned one.

The packs will need to include the property's title documents and local and drainage searches. If the property is leasehold, then maintenance and landlord information will also need to be included. For a full list of what is required, contact us now.

It will be important to choose the right company to provide you with a pack containing all the required and relevant information.
